UK TV Alert

It's a few days away, but flicking through Tivo I noticed that Sky Arts 1 has a couple of Fleetwood Mac oriented programs on this coming Friday onwards.

1pm : Fleetwood Mac : Behind The Music

2pm : Video Killed The Radio Star : Mick Fleetwood discusses the music videos that defined Fleetwood Mac, including Big Love and the "mini movie" for Gypsy.

Saturday

1am : Fleetwood Mac : Behind The Music (Repeat)

8:45 am : Fleetwood Mac : Behind The Music (Repeat)

The run alot of Dave Fanning interviews, so I'm hoping they'll show a repeat of the Lindsey Buckingham interview. I scanned the schedule up to the tenth but so far no dice :(.

Thanks Bee - I've already got all these recorded as "keepers" (including Lindsey's interview with Dave Fanning), but I'm sure there are a fair few UK Ledgies who'll be wanting to watch these!

You're not missing too much regarding the Videos prog - it's only about 30 minutes (and if I remember rightly there's adverts halfway thru too!) and it's just Mick waffling on between showing parts of the vids we've all seen hundreds of times anyway!

BTM is a far better doc!

Is it the updated BTM that includes Say You Will? I'd love to see the 15-20 minutes that they added to the original show.

When it was shown just a few weeks ago it was indeed the "Re-mastered" version of BTM.

I'm still waiting on email confirmation, but hopefully once you're signed up and confirmed, you can watch Video Killed The Radio Star online.

I agree. That video programme is truly awful! The interview makes little sense (Mick seems to be talking a lot of adlib'd rubbish about how seriously they took videos) and they make very little reference to the videos. It came across like a documentary made by school students!

I set my Tivo to record days ago so I wouldn't miss.

Ooh, I get off work at Midnight tonight, so I can watch the Behind The Music repeat at 1am. Yay. Thanks for letting us know, Bee!
