Edge walk timing
For these shows, when have people started rushing the stage for Edge? I know security varies by venue, but has there been a trend that people are starting to the front during Leather and Lace, or has it mostly started when the Edge into begins?
Thanks in advance...don't want to miss this! |
At last nights show some people were going up during the drum/percussion solo, others went up as the guitar started. Security was unusually tight. I got up through center isle. I could barely reach her hand but she seemed to be looking at an old pin I was wearing and she reached a little further..basically it was like index finger to index finger. Anyways i'd recommend looking for any vacant seats close to stage and get ready early incase of any security issues. As someone mentioned earlier it was hot and very stinky by the stage but worth it to see Stevie that close. She looks great.

I'm in the dead center of the 4th row, which will make it challenging to get out quickly. I'm thinking that I'll start to make my way to the aisle around the end of L&L.

Good luck! Jamie |
I'm second row center-ish in Boston. As happy as I am to finally get the center section, I've always been on the sides/aisles before so it was easy to get up front as long as security was allowing it. My plan of action will be to hop over the seat in front of me to get to the stage! No idea how well that will work for me, but it's my only option I think.

I should have a couple of clances for the Edge walk.Out of 5 shows.Jones Beach and Boston.probably not because of crappy seats.A fat chance.I will try though.I have sneak down.I do remember at one show that I got down to the front from back of the section like row z with no problem with the security folks.the other 3 shows. yes.

At Dallas they let several people up at the start of the percussion. Those of us on the right got up after the walk started. Depended on which guard you had. This was sort of my experience on the 2009 tour as well, but that time the difference was a matter of seconds instead of minutes, and it was front-row center that almost got screwed (guards to the sides let people go to the stage in front of us while we were held back).
