Cover Versions
Do we know of any country or bluegrass style covers of Fleetwood Mac songs?
I've heard Patty Loveless' Silver Springs so far.... |
Nora O'Connor does a folk/country type version of That's Alright - as if the song wasn't in that style anyway, haha. It's on her album 'Til The Dawn.
Sara Watkins, formerly of Nickel Creek, also does an excellent live version of Steal Your Heart Away. I have a great quality mp3 but can't get mediafire to work. If you pvt me your e-mail address I can e-mail it to you when I get home from work. |
Caitlin Rose also covered "That's Alright"
Dale Ann Bradley does a bluegrass "Over My Head" Waylon Jennings covered "Gold Dust Woman" Willie Nelson has a version of "Songbird" Sara Evans & Maroon 5 performed "Leather & Lace" on CMT Crossroads Of course, Dixie Chicks did "Landslide" And, Little Big Town used to have "Go Your Own Way" in their live set. |
and there is this...

Thank-you so much
I also found a Tony Trishka cover of World Turning, which I love! Currently downloading the tracks you've mentioned and eager to listen to them all! |
Pam Tillis does a version of "Go Your Own Way" on her Live at the Renaissance Center DVD. When I saw Sara Evans in Philly a few years ago she closed her set with "Go Your Own Way" as well.

Leo Kottke did a smokin' version of "World Turning".
Waylon & Willie also did "Rhiannon". Rusty Weir did Lindsey's "Don't Let Me Down Again" & "Lola (My Love)" as well as an early arrangement (without bridge) of Stevie's "Think About It"...all on his Stacked Deck LP from 1976. |
