"For What It's Worth" Charting Status
1 Attachment(s)
Since FWIW it's now charting, I wanted to create a thread to keep track of all of the data that is published.
This week, FWIW has charted at #32 on Adult Contemporary radio. She's up from #39 from last week. Nice job, Stevie! http://www.mediabase.com/mmrweb/insi...owyear=y&dpt=n |
That is nice but where is the radio edit for this song being sold. I like the edit better than what is on the album. I want it. It's punchier and just better.

This isn't the Billboard AC chart though, right?

Mediabase's Streetpulse columnist has been tracking sales of In Your Dreams, which last week were up 50% from the prior week, resulting in the album re-entering the Billboard album chart.
I'm waiting for this week's update, but "In Your Dreams" has outsold the most recent studio albums by everyone in her female peer group (and most of her male peer group) according to Soundscan, which is what Billboard uses to determine sales charts. IYD has sold more units than the most recent full-length studio efforts by Heart, Linda Rondstat, Debbie Harry, Joan Jett, Chrissie Hynde, Patti Smith, Sheryl Crow, Pat Benatar, Aretha Franklin (by 25 to 1!, take that so-called Queen of Soul), Melissa Etheridge, Joni Mitchell & Tori Amos. |
^ Thanks for putting things in perspective re: sales. It's especially striking that she outsold Sheryl Crow, who's significantly younger and had her heyday much more recently than Stevie.
