Thanks for the link! What an interesting choice for a performance. Newark is a bit less than an hour east of Columbus and is pretty much a podunk little city known for its giant basket-shaped building (Longaberger HQ) and American Indian mounds. I can't imagine it'll be too hoppin' on a Wednesday night in November.

Reminds me of when some other favorite indie bands started playing little theatres around Columbus (e.g. Nelsonville, about an hour south) - Arcade Fire, Andrew Bird, Yo La Tengo, etc. I really enjoy the setting and the audience, but the find this decision for Lindsey a bit curious when there are many great small venues in Columbus. I guess he'll be big news for Newark! I hope its a well-attended show and that Columbus-ites will make the trek. I'll be there.
