Expected Fleetwood Mac

Do you know any place, radio, source that you are completely sure you will always hear a Fleetwood Mac song?

I fly frequently in Lan Airlines, and at planes there's a music channel of classic rock and hits, and there is ALWAYS a Fleetwood Mac song. Most of the time I find a single from Rumours or Mirage. Sometimes from Tusk, but Rumours and Mirage hits are the most common.

I've said this before but I can always count on my neighbor to play Tusk. He just loves that album... Oh and certain Casinos in Atlantic City.

I'm not sure what Los Angeles station it is, but every time I go to my manicurist's they play at least one FM song on the shop radio. I am only there for an hour too. Every time I go, I hear one song. So, does that mean they play 24 FM (or FM solo) songs in a 24 hour period? It's almost weird.

The Bridge station on Sirius/XM pretty much plays a FM song every hour. Mostly the hits from the White Album and Rumours, but sometimes they sneak a Tusk or Tango song in there.

Sirius/XM is pretty FM/SN friendly overall. Usually if i'm in the car for 20 minutes or more, I'll hear at least 1 song if i'm flipping around on my first 6 presets.

Strangely enough, every time I go with my friends to the local Bowling Alley, it's guaranteed that somebody will put a Mac song on the Jukebox. The local Wilkinson's store does a pretty good job of trending them whenever I'm in there too, though it's usually the predictable greatest hits CD.

I don't really have a source in which there would be expected FM. The local oldies station and VH1 classics play some FM but not enough for it to be expected.

Lite FM plays Dreams and Don't Stop pretty often. Not often enough that you'd always hear one, but more than they should. :distress:

My entrance into a supermarket or a pharmacy almost guarantees they will play Gypsy or SYLM on the audio system. (And it's not because they see me coming.)

The pub where I work always plays Don't Stop once a day.

MacFan92 08-07-2011 07:37 PM

Every time I go to the Mall they play Gypsy, Hold Me, or Rhiannon.

Pretty much every day on Radio 2, and whenever I go into my local "Boots" and "M&S" stores there's usually an FM Greatest Hits track playing! :D

move from unexpected

i'm pasting here my post from few days ago in unexpected FM since it does really belong here:

almost not unexpected at this point anymore, but still always makes my morning:

someone on Morning Joe (msnbc) must be a fan of FM-songs sang by Lindsey - for a while they've been using Second Hand News almost regularly (as a background to go to a break), that was replaced by Don't Stop for a period of time, last week SHN was back, and today it was Go Your Own Way.

Blueletter18 08-14-2011 12:23 AM

I work the closing shift at my fast food job, and the radio station they play does FM pretty often at night- 2 nights in a row, heard Go Your Own Way, and Dreams when I was sweeping the dining room- it put a smile on my face!
