Southern Cali Fan Meet-Up
 

Hi guys-
So after having the most amazing experience in line at Amoeba waiting with other fans (oh yeah and meeting Stevie was cool too) I realized how good it felt to have so many people around that share the same passion for Stevie I do and have so many wonderful stories to tell. It truly is a great bond to share so I was thinking that even though there are no scheduled shows as of yet out here, some of us die-hards (not limited to Ledgies) should get together on a Saturday perhaps in mid-September (I'm thinking the 17th) and do this thing! Back in the day we used to have fan parties and they were truly a gas! I'm friends with some local Stevie fans but know there are many other fans out there who would love to be part of our little community of chiffonheads. We could play Stevie games, blast music, have lip-synching contests, etc. So what do you think? We need to decide on:

1. The date. I definitely think it needs to be on a weekend so if people are traveling or have to work during the week they can still make it.

2. Location. I'm thinking a public place like Griffith Park as apposed to a bar or restaurant so we don't have to worry about people under 21 or those that don't want to spend a lot of $. Another option is to have it as someone's house or apartment and I've already heard a few people volunteer.

Please let me know your thoughts on this and if there is any interest in it actually happening. Depending on the response and once we hammer out the details I will create a Facebook group for this event.

All ideas, thoughts, suggestions, opinons, etc. are appreciated!

I'll be there! Games sound fun, along with the pinata i mentioned to you before. I can get one being so close to Mexico. Maybe we can do Stevie-themed food too. I read she digs mexican food. Red velvet cake is very Stevie too.

So more games I thought of: Stevie charades where we act out different songs, name that demo, pin the tail on the Stevie, Trivial per Stevie, role play, Stevie pictionary, musical chairs to Stand Back.

I would totally come to this. One of the things I was really bummed about not being able to go to the Amoeba signing was the fact that I missed out on meeting all the cool people here on the Ledge that were going.

And if this happens, I suggest Stevie themed food as well. I mean, come on, how can we pass up having a Stevie Nicks Fajita Round up. "And I saw my reflection in a big pile of Nachos".

This will be so much fun ;) I can do it at my place, but I need to see how many people are coming; I have a pretty big apartment. My building is having come mild construction these next 2 months.
