Does Stevie wear extensions?
 

I'm sorry if this has been discussed before, as it seems a rather trivial point. I was just wondering if anyone knew if Stevie wears extensions or not? I remember there being a little bit of inquiry about it when the video from her visit to the Glee set came

. My curiosity got sparked because I saw someone on another site make a comment (without a hint of negativity, for the record) about how they saw her on the SYW tour twice and the second show, two days after the first, her hair was a foot longer.

I figured some of you guys would probably know, especially those of you that attend a lot of shows, or are maybe just experts on Stevie's hair haha.

I personally think she does. Her hair def was not as long as it was on the Heart and Soul Tour. I say if she does all the power to her! If she doesn't her hair still looks fab!

In comparison to recent photos from the UK? I think all that extra volume makes it look much shorter.

She herself has referred to wearing them. In talking about the making of the Every Day video she said she had extensions and liked them so much she left them in for days after the shoot. I'm sure that wasn't the last time she wore any.

Oh absolutely! There's just no way all that hair is hers but I have been wondering the same thing.

If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times: no. A woman with extensions does not "toss her hair back and forth" with such confidence and ease like Mama does at the end of "Edge of Seventeen." Enough about the extension. I want to know how she still has dark roots. :shrug:

I reckon she's had'em, from time to time, since all the way back to the Tango tour. Always ahead of the times, she is.

Miley Cyrus wears extensions (about the same length as Stevie's would be if she does in fact wear them, I'd imagine) and she flings herself all over the place, though.

And I wonder about the dark roots too! There's no way she's not mostly all gray by now.

Which brings us to another point: is Stevie a natural blonde? I say no, based off of baby/childhood pictures (where you can see that she was once blonde at a very young age, but her hair got darker and darker).

I'm not a hair expert by any means but it seems to me that she does wear extensions from time to time. She definitely did something different with her hair for this London visit and it does look good. Which has me wondering too about dark roots. I don't think Stevie is a natural blonde either based on early pics and vids. Take Rhiannon (Midnight Special version) she has a darker blonde, almost honey like then. As the years went by it got lighter. :rolleyes:

I don't think she does. She's always had really beautiful hair, and lots of it. I know she wore them in the videos for TISL but i think what she's sporting now is all hers. My hair is about that long, and depending on what i do to it, it looks really different all the time. If i curl it or let it air dry,it looks shorter, if i straighten it , it's like down to my butt !! :)

I always love Stevie's hair since day one.I cant tell if its her real hair or extentions at times .It looks real to me.Did any of you lucky ones at these signings get a closer look at her hair.I might feel funny by just staring at her hair while she is talking to me or signing a tee shirt or something for me.

Yes she does. I took a picture of her bowing at one of the UK Mac shows and you could clearly see she had extensions. They look fabulous though!

She wears extensions. And maybe not just for length but for volume on the top as well. You can shake your head around as much as you want with extensions. Especially if you have extensions of the quality Stevie most likely has.

I do wonder about those dark roots though. She has to be gray. I can't imagine they'd go to the trouble of dying her roots dark to carry the illusion that she's not gray.
