The GREAT thing about the BBC is everything is archived, so you can go back and listen to it after the fact... I love that!

Plus the BBC Breakfast show can be watched online too...

She's been trending on twitter in the UK since this morning as well. It's probably much easier to promote in the UK, rather than the US, because of how small our country is.

Nice interview in some ways, but I have to laugh that Stevie couldn't resist crossing the pond to tell the UK that Lindsey did nothing to pay rent back in 1974.
Also, I like that they show the clip from the IAF video, but why on earth would they show "Everywhere" for a Stevie solo interview? The audience gets to see & hear Christine. I figured maybe they would ask Stevie about her or something.

Will anyone be able to shorten that to the just Stevie part? The reason I ask is my satellite broadband won't tolerate a long playing vid w/o slowing down my internet to the speed of mud! *sigh* One of the drawbacks to living in the rural countryside where DSL or high speed satellite hasn't arrived yet! :distress:

ali101 06-22-2011 07:33 AM

Huge error I figured.
If they wanted to illustrate her work with the mac I thought it would be one of Stevies songs or at least part of the vt which showed stevie!!

I loved this interview. I love watching Stevie with her hand gestures and seeing those gloveless hands.. Sara's father had made for her the moon necklace with 32 diamonds in it representing the 32 shows his daughter had attended with Stevie. And lastly, loved looking at those sexy platform heels.
Thank you for posting this.:xoxo:

You're welcome. It is a beautiful necklace and a poignant gift too.

Stevie said back in April:

'In Your Dreams' is dedicated to "Sara, my sweet girl," tell me about her?

Sara was a girl that had a very rare kind of cancer, and our friend Lisa Loeb connected me and her parents. They brought her to a show, and we became very close. She was about 21 when I met her, and she'd been fighting this cancer since she was 17. I was in very close contact with her and her parents through three years. In 2008, [after a Fleetwood Mac tour], I flew to Pennsylvania and spent a day with her. She died three days later.

I lost my best friend to leukemia 30 years ago. There was a very similar feeling, except that when I lost Robin [Anderson], I was on the road and everybody was high, so it was horrible. I never got to really grieve about that because I was in the midst of this whole big Fleetwood Mac thing. But when Sara died, I was in Mexico in a very quiet house, and I was hit extremely hard. She loved my music so much, and she wanted me to do another record so much, and I was still on that "I'm never going to do another record" kick.

I just loved her so much, and it was very hard to lose her. She fought a really good fight between 17 and 24, and I dedicated the record to her because I felt in so many ways that it belonged to her.
