Hopefully?!?

In short it didn't. The only solo album Stevie actively did press & then tour Europe was for OSOTM - thus "Rooms On Fire" & OSOTM being her biggest solo hits over there.
So this is fantastic for Stevie & her UK fans! I've also seen press pop up for Stevie & IYD in Ireland, Germany, Spain & of course the UK. Liz must be doing her job beyond the US for once. Stevie Nicks - the solo artist - has always been more underground and a bit of a late bloomer in Europe (outside of FM). Stevie's profile in Europe started building again in the last 8 years or so, and suddenly younger artists overseas started taking notice. I suspect It slowly started after the SYW album & world tour, followed by the hit cover of "Rooms On Fire" (2003) by Europa XL ft. Natalie James, followed by "Dreams" By Deep Dish ft. Stevie Nicks (2005) both of which received plenty of airplay across Europe, but particularly in the UK. Then suddenly Stevie started becoming more revered & more respected, thus the many mentions for being influential for bands like "Bats For Lashes, Rilo Kiley & Florence & The Machine and others. Europe has slowly come around to the charms of Stevie and getting her unique contributions to music.
It's exciting to see Stevie finally take advantage of this momentum & it may not have happened without the 2 Stewarts: Dave & Rod  Theres potential that the Hard Rock Calling concert & all the press she's doing in Europe will pay off for IYD becoming a modest hit (It's already getting decent reviews in Europe, where they tend to be a lot harsher than the US critics) & "Secret Love is poised to become her first top 40 hit over there since ROF (not counting Deep Dish's "Dreams") So hopefully (for UK starved solo fans) Stevie will launch a short tour after her Aug-Sept US trek, but before her November Australia dates.
