Has anyone tried the LiveNation 3-day guarantee

I see the pretty words, but I followed links and all I could see is "contact us" as a way to get the refund.
Only problem is--I contacted them before the 72-hours was up, and they haven't contacted me yet.

Just wanted to know if they actually go through with this.

Yes! I just did this on Friday with Stevie tickets. Of course they are going to make you jump through some hoops, but once you call them, they will re-direct you to customer service, who will then take care of it. It took me about 15 minutes total.

Ditto. I did this on Friday too. I needed to get my one tix refunded since i had another one with another friend. They made it sound like they were doing me a courtesy, even though it's right there on there web page.

Although that reminds me i need to check my credit card statement to see the refund.

Thanks for the feedback. I have to say, I was sort of shocked. I made the decision to cancel a Stevie ticket on Saturday morning. By the evening, I had had an awful day and just didn't want to deal with anyone by phone. So, I contacted them via email.
And never heard a thing (as of this morning, when I posted this). So, I was going to call them up. But, before that, I wanted to look up the order number--they had cancelled it! Awesome. No jumping through hoops at all. However, had I not looked it up, I would not have known without further contact because they never sent me an email or phoned or anything.
Weird. But, I'm glad they are doing this. I've been known to hit a button or two...accidently...in my zeal to get tickets;-)

I find it interesting that they'll do exchanges for better seats "up until one week before the event." It's like they're admitting they know the magical tickets in the first 10 rows are usually released then - and if they let everyone make exchanges within that time frame, they'd be slammed with exchange requests.
