How have I never seen this?! Loving her vocal! But it doesn't look like 94 Stevie... it looks more 1998 Stevie, but you can kinda tell her hair may be Street Angel era, just not in mass curl mode.

No idea on the year but it does look pre-The Dance to me.

omg, I love the lyric change! "And your life wonders why" what a great way to make it rhyme with "taken by the sky". I swear you could make 10 different songs out Rhiannon with how often Stevie switches up the words/verses!

its from 94..interview w/tommy hilfiger..i just watched the whole thing..she does this at the end..she looks pretty good sitting talking w/tommy..that bloating stage must have happened after this interview cause seeing her on letterman/leno in 94??...wow..NOT good..

It's pretty shocking how much her voice has changed since the '90s. And to think back then I thought it had greatly deteriorated from it's peak. It sounds positively buttery and pliant here. I have seen this footage before, but it's been a very long time.

Her voice was awesome in 1994. That summer's tour dates were some of the best vocals she'd ever done. Especially coming off the off-pitch years (1988-1993) when everyone thought her voice was shot, performances like this seemed like a miracle.

I definitely think it's '94, I seem to remember that her physical appearance would change drastically in short periods of time in that era. I remember seeing her twice within the span of about 9 months and she was slim at one show, and bloated at the next. Sounded awesome both times though.

i find it too cute/funny that it takes her a few seconds to find the right keys! :lol:
