In Your Dreams Survivor: Episode #1
 

Hey All:

It's that time again, for another Stevie survivor, this time on the new album!! AND in honor of the new album, I thought it would be interesting if we made this one a little bit different.

I am sure everyone at this point is familiar with the premise of survivor. You vote for the song you want OUT of the group (in essence your least favorite), until we get down to the final two, and we vote for our favorite.

To make this one different, I thought we could make it more like the show, splitting the album in half (into two "tribes", essentially). Here's how it will work. I've split the album up into two halves to make the tribes. There are two voting components in this survivor. First there is a voting poll, where you will select your least favorite tribe out of the two. Then, whichever tribe you vote for as your least favorite, you will select the song you want voted off. This kind of goes with the Survivor show, with tribes getting immunity from voting people off. Make sense?

So, for example, say out of the two "tribes", for round 1 I like the second tribe of songs less. I would partake in the poll, voting for the second tribe as my lesser favorite, and then typing out the song I want voted off (probably your least fave). Make sense? HOWEVER, if you want to get all legit and try to pull off some strategy voting, that is fine. It doesn't NECESSARILY have to be your least fave song.

With all this being said, only one song from the album will be voted off each round. The tribe that gets the most amount of votes as the least favorite group of songs will lose whichever song received the most amount of votes for that round.

When there are half of the songs remaining from the entire album, we will then "merge" the tribes into one and carry on like we normally would.

In summation, in the voting poll, select which group of songs you like least/want a member to go home, and then type which song.

So, why do we bother voting if we have to type a song anyway?

Read:

Well, let's say your favorite song is in the first group. By voting for immunity, it's an attempt to save the song you like by trying to make it to where that song, and ALL songs in that group can't be voted off that round, and by getting rid of one you don't so much.

The "tribe" you vote for is the one you're wanting to assure goes to tribal council. And to all, make sure we are selecting which song we are wanting sent home.

Here's what makes this interesting.

Let's say, Annabel Lee (tribe 2) gets 15 votes
Secret Love (tribe 1) gets 12 votes and
Cheaper Than Free (tribe 1) gets 11 votes.

As would normally be the case, Annabel Lee would be going home. BUT not in this survivor. The 23 people who voted a song in tribe 1 off would have voted that they want a song from Tribe 1 to go home, making it 23 people who wanted to axe a T1 song, and 15 for a T2 song, therefore, T2 would have gotten immunity, and Annabel Lee would have been safe. Make sense?

Bye Bye Cheaper Than Free. You're a cute little song, but you have no business playing with the big kids.
