So I'm sure you have had discussions about this before but I have just heard some of the Buckingham Nicks album and I have to say that it is amazing! The four tracks I have heard are Stephanie which really shows off Lindsay's guitar skills!! Frozen Love is my new song all 7 minutes of that song. The harmonies are simply brilliant. Crying in the Night is classic Stevie Nicks and I'm surprised it didn't show up somewhere on a Fleetwood Mac album. Don't Let Me Down Again is great and I understand why they included it on the live album. The only thing I'm wondering is why the heck didn't this album sell better than it did?

Who knows? Polydor probably didn't promote it...

Buckingham Nicks is shockingly good the first time you hear it. I think everyone expects it to be bad since it flopped so badly. But it's quite the opposite. It's every bit as good as the '75-'79 Mac albums, and sounds very much like them as well.

Yes I agree...I wasn't expecting it to be horrible but certainly not this good either! Lindsey and Stevie's voices sound magical together! Thanks for the link...checking it out right now :nod:!!

Exactly!! Listening to the album you can almost hear the Rumours era of FM being formed :nod:!

Just for yuks :eek:...take Christine's songs from Heroes Are Hard To Find (except "Bad Loser") and mix them in with the Buckingham Nicks album.

(which is what I did not too long after I first read that Buckingham Nicks had joined Fleetwood Mac...long before the '75 album came out.) :nod:

Its a VERY good album. I love it more than some FM albums.

I wish to goodness they'd stop messing about and put it out on CD - they must know by now how many of their fans long for this to happen!

I agree! I'm sure plenty of people would be interested! Have they ever talked about officially releasing it?

'Frozen Love' is one of the best songs ever! Why it was never a hit single is beyond me!

It's over seven minutes long and I doubt Lindsey would've been happy to cut any of the solo... I wouldn't have been happy if he had :mad:

i would love to have it on CD. IF they do that, i bet they will not tour w/ it. i think when stevie made that comment about renting a castle/house in Wales and recording she was just tryan spark out interest. something tells me that these two amazing artist will NOT do BN.
