I just got my first letter from a person who says he is trying my work thanks to the new Stevie Nicks song. I must say, I'm honored by Stevie Nicks' mention of me in that song. And hearing it makes me so homesick for New Orleans. So home sick for the oaks of uptown and the twilight sky over the Garden District, and the breeze off the river.

This is soooo awesome!!!!!!!

Awesome :)

Maybe Stevie will brush by Anne Rice one of these days!

This did make my inner middle-schooler giggle. I was obsessed with Anne Rice back in the day, and clearly Stevie as well. Never did I think the two would ever come together (and I really dislike the song), but when I first heard Stevie coo Anne's name, it was kind of extraordinary.

Makes me want to write Anne a letter........

Thanks for sharing!

:wavey:

People on Anne Rice's facebook are saying they are going to check out that song. :) :) :)

...hmmmm I smell a new Anne Rice series coming on.

But not likely in New Orleans, since she apparently doesn't live there anymore! Though I guess the vampires are still there.

Stevie is like some wondrous creature from New Orleans.

Very cool!!! I wonder if she will mention Stevie in one of her future books?:)

Well, Stevie got herself on Glee... anything is possible.

That's cool! :)

I think she lives in Cali?

yes, she left new orleans, but it's really where her spirit lies, she misses it

Anne's life got turned upside down. I think the Christian stuff is wearing off. She writing a book about Atlantis.

I guess Anne lives in California now. Ironically her daughter Michele died of leukemia just like Stevie's Robin.

Absolutely fantastic.

That's a big leap...of logic!

nah, not with Anne

Hell, she might start a whole new series
