Dave working on next single video?

I think he is working on the next single. Here is twitter message.

@WeaponsofME
Weapons of ME
walked by edit room and saw @DaveStewart working on a video for track #...(hint: it's somewhere between 5 and ten) #inyourdreams

It could be for the movie, but the way this guy says it, tells me he is giving us the hint to the next single. I sorta hope not. I think In Your Dreams should be the next single.

Between tracks 5 and 10, huh? I'm hoping for "Moonlight"! :)

Moonlight is my favorite song on the album, but I bet it's Annabelle Lee because of the Rolling Stone review.

It's either Annabel Lee or Everybody Loves You; both of those songs seem to be the ones with the most single potential. I'm sorta hoping Annabel Lee, it's just so Stevie!

Moonlight and Everybody Loves are like my two favorites and I just know they will never be singles. However, I will say this. Moonlight got a bunch of downloads from iTunes yesterday. It charted.

Wait I don't get it - the sizzle reel clips for Moonlight, Annabel Lee, Wide Sargasso Sea, Italian Summer... surely they're parts of longer, full videos? Why would they go the trouble/expense of making just those tiny clips for the trailer?

I'm hoping that it is Annabel Lee..it certainly has all the elements of a classic single..if not that then it'll probably be Everybody Loves You..Moonlight is great but too oddly structed to be a single IMO.Even though it is not even quite in my top 5 favorites I have to agree with those that think In Your Dreams should be the next single..it's just so concise and catchy.

He's making a movie, but I think the video's for outside release, such as Secret Love are getting extra attention. And actually, I know 4 videos were made a while back because of twitter, but if some songs get edited down for radio, the videos are going to have to be re-edited.

Are they REALLY going to flush the incredible potential of the title track down the toilet?! It's the most radio friendly song Stevie's cut in decades!!

I feel the same way! It is most definitely the obvious single from the album, although there are others. You May Be the One would make a good one too and a few others.

I'm kind of baffled that they aren't going with "In Your Dreams" too. It's not among my favorite tracks on the album but you can just hear the single potential.

I try to imagine how well a song might go over on the radio. I *love* "Moonlight", I do think its the best track on the album and a classic Nicks song already. It does have a basic understandable structure of verse-verse-chorus-verse-chorus-coda. I think the opening piano verses are potentially too "soft" for radio, maybe.

When I listen to the album and try to set aside my own personal favorites and just listen for what "sounds like a single" I come up with "In Your Dreams", "New Orleans" and "Everybody Loves You".

I don't know that I agree that In Your Dreams is the obvious choice. It all depends on the format of the station considering it for airplay. It would be great on the classic rock formats that give airtime to new material by legacy artists, but that won't necessarily reach new listeners or spur sales, which is what a single is supposed to do.

I'd go with Everybody Loves You - it's modern, and yet easily accessible for almost any radio format. It's got a catchy hook and the eastern beat is funky enough to be intriguing to the listener unfamiliar with Stevie Nicks.

Good points. A few people have panned "Everybody Loves You" because they don't seem to like the electronic aspects of it, but frankly I consider that Nicksian purism. The song still sounds like Stevie Nicks; it works for her.

Moonlight, please. The twi-hards would eat that crap up.
