To all my fans ~~

It is 11:12 p on Monday night. For another hour the record is still just Dave's and mine~ and all the amazing memories of what we have been through making it are spinning around me like ghostly dancers~ singing the stories of songs writen and the experiences we have had during the past year dancing side by side~ the story tellers and the msuic~ the girls and I, Lori and Sharon, Scotty and Ned and Karen; Kellianne who fed us food filled with love~ our sweet Glen~ and Dave and I, who promised each other that we would defy the music business and bring into the world a record that would make people remember why we all loved it so..."back in the day." We would try to bring that feeling into the future for people our age and older~but also we would gather the young ones and surround them in music they could understand and be a part of~ and hopefully~ be inspired by this music to go back to the old ways and start over. This is our prayer~This is our baby~And we give her lovingly into your dreams~ From our tribe to yours...

Perfection. This woman is a genius.

Her words just prove that she decided to do it "her way" and that she is extremely pleased with what was produced. Whatever your feelings are about the new songs (I personally love 3-4 of them, and think none are duds), we should all be happy that she had an incredible journey with the making of this CD. We should all be so lucky to enjoy life so joyously.

She is adorable. I love her line about the last hour of the album being just hers and Dave's...so sweet.

I'm happy that she is so happy.

Thanks for posting! I just found this, too, and was about to put it up here.

She's so bloody hopeful for this thing. I really hope that all of her dreams come true with this disc and that she'll come to see her mission accomplished regarding inspiring the youth of today. God knows she's right...and that it needs to be done. Wonderful to have this little excerpt from her mind on the album, written the night before the release. Curious that she didn't mention her illness, but maybe she just wanted the message to be focused on the album. In any event, so glad to see her taking advantage of her site again.
