Stevie thanking her fans

Let me preface this with I am sorry to those who are en-route to NYC or are there, and this show was postponed (I have faith SN will not cancel on you all) I thought it was kind of her to state that "this was for you" meaning the fans. I also was going to mention on how yet ANOTHER album, Stevie makes no thank you's to her fans. I know when most artists do, it's kind blowing smoke up our butts, but SN/FM's fanbase is so devoted, I'm still just kind of surprised she doesn't add a little something more directed to her masses. OSOTM thanks "to those that listen." Just one of those random things I noticed. I feel snided, I'm not going to sleep tonight. Wah. lol. So kidding, just an observation.

Well there's no doubt she's appreciative of her fans, she shows it in many other ways. I honestly haven't seen all that many albums with 'thanks to our/my fans' directly in it like that really. :shrug:Usually they just name drop specific people.

for me..

she does say thank you. through her music.

"In Your Dreams" is such a wonderful gift and Stevie knows that its her fans who will appreciate it the most.

Stevie has been always loyal to her fans and her fans are always loyal to her. We are one big happy family really. Stevie really does love and care about her fans and she shows it.

her Albums are her thank you's. IYD was a big thank you. In fact I thank her. IYD reminded me why I love her. this album made me FINALLY remember how amazing a Stevie Album can be after being disillusioned for years

*spoiler*

Are you joking? She even dedicates the album to a fan and has a picture of that fan in the booklet.

some people...

What were you expecting? A personal phone call?

Macfanforever 05-02-2011 07:37 PM

Yes She loves us.I'm not all upset about this.she's human like me and all of you.She got to take her time to take care of her health. She's 62. most people by that age are getting ready to retire and take a part time job been a greeter at Walmart.I.ve notice she's is doing better in the last few years with her health.Anyway We just have to relax and let Stevie recover to she feels better to hit the road.Ley say a prayer for her.

OK...show of hands who would turn that down?!

I am a huge fan, and I don't NEED that. My comment was just a notice of something that she doesn't do, where as so many other artists do, and frankly, I find that when they do, it seems to me a "please don't stop being a fan, I need you people!" Absolutely under no circumstances do I feel that she doesn't do for her fans thru her music and her all around kindness. Jeez, some people indeed.

When I look at the audience out there it’s like I’m looking at my children.

Quoted the same year she added that comment in her liner notes.

Just chatting nuances. Or is that nuisance?
