"Moonlight" SPOILER Question

Lady From the Mountain/Moonlight

I just really wish she would have tacked on the last verse....it would have totally fit in with the song....

So.........go with her
You know that you want her
I think you could use a dreamer
Somewhere on your side
Any maybe....if that woman could make you crazy
Did she call out....did she say "Please save me!"

I definitely agree... those were my fav lines in the demo :). But the finished product is very good still. Probably my fav on the album, even.

I listened for that myself but you know, this is how I feel about Annabel Lee, this new song is so amazing and there are still reasons to listen to the demo. So this way you don't replace that little demo that you love so much, you just have two wonderful songs that are great in their own ways.

Maybe there will be an extended mix ala POTU with the extra lyrics.

I can't even think of extras yet. I'm so knocked out by this album that I can't think straight.

This is sooo cool to see that this song really is LFTM. It's currently playing now, and I love how when the chorus kicked in the first time, I was like, "OMG, I KNOW THIS PART FROM THE REEL!!" This is just too amazing!

Stop. Just stop. My heart can't take this greatness for much longer.

The absolute only reason I didn't wait is because you can hear the entire album, every note, on Rolling Stone's website. I saw the snippits were released this morning, and decided against listening to them. I didn't want to ruin the album for myself. But once the entire album was posted on Rolling Stone's website, it seemed pointless to wait another week. I cleaned the house, bought champagne (well, Cava, technically), and lit some incense and streamed the album. I don't regret it, either. :D

now you're teasing me!

This sums it up perfectly  It's really great that she's FINALLY recorded Lady From The Mountains (Or as I'll now forever think of it; the little song that finally could!) but, it's even BETTER that she didn't take 100% of it, she adapted it and made it modern, so it's relevant to the Stevie of the 21st century. This way, we have two amazing versions of this song :)

I like the way she uses her voice on this song.
