How to Get the ultimate lindsey tone

Hi Quick question - I know mylittledemon will be able to answer this :) but its for anyone who may be able to offer words of advice

so what settings on the Model one, and the DD3 pedal do you use to get closest to the lindsey sound????

Cheers

There are pretty much no settings needed on the Model 1 itself. Crank the tone up, and adjust the volume to your taste. That tone really comes from Buckingham's hands.

But if you want the closest sound, I suggest using the same pedals he does. Boss SD1 for the overdrive... DD5 for the delay (I don't have a DD3 & not familiar with it's features)... and for my amp, I have a Boogie Rectoverb, although Lindsey uses a Tremoverb. Not sure the major differences between them, but I think it's that the tremoverb has tremolo, which I don't think Lindsey uses either.

Hey yeah I got the SD1 and the DD3 is very similar to the DD5 - just older version (aready had this in hand before trialling) but how much delay to put into it???

I guess the amp is the one thing I dont have - I live in an apartment block and I dont think the neighbours would be too happy with a bigger amp than I already have - I guess the tubes also have alot to do with the sound too to an extent!
