I doubt we'll see something that aggressive from Reprise. They're pretty low key in the way they market modern Stevie. They slap her onto the talk show circuit, then throw her out on tour, and that's about it.

And it's too bad, because we all know how spotty Stevie can come across on the talk show circuit:lol: especially when she seems intent on rewriting her own history, in sticking to the same old talking points. For instance, it would have been so refreshing on O to hear Stevie talk about the "best year of her life" (making and recording In Your Dreams) somewhere in the interview, bringing Stevie's life full circle to current events. Unfortunately she's somewhat at the mercy of these interviewers, who bring up the most mundane things, like "why do you look so good?" really Oprah!?:o

I can't figure out why they didn't air it on Oprah.

She's getting the so-so advertising that should be expected. It's been said over and over on this forum....it's too long since the last release and especially long since the Dance. I think the only chance this CD has of becoming a moderate to big seller is if it's really great and can "promote itself" in the long run.

Seriously! I have a music business degree and tons of industry experience. She can totally hire me too. I'll never sleep making sure she gets the promotion and recognition she deserves.

I'm calling this now, so when it happens, all of you lediges can be like "that Chris is so cool, he called this on April 19th." :p

The Glee Episode, when they do Rumours.
Her Ad will play. Mark my words.
I feel it. :p

Now that you've said it, I'll be absolutely dumbfounded if they don't. If they let this opportunity pass them by; Stevie's being managed by morons.

Seeing as I think that episode is supposed to air on May 3, we better be seeing an ad on there! I mean seriously, just air the album trailer in an edited form. Bingo, done. Nothing makes me more upset than when artists I love have shi**y management and their potential to reach the level of amazingness they deserve is hindered as a result.

They didn't run the album add during the commercial break. A major wasted opportunity!
