Ha! Check out the below link. Anyone ever seen this before? It lists references and links to articles and interviews where she says that she used to smoke. We all knew that she did, but it's fascinating to see all of these examples that she 100% contradicts herself in the Harper's interview:

This woman so wants to rewrite history...or perhaps she really is batty from all the drug abuse:rolleyes: nonetheless Stevie must be counting on her fans having really short memories:shrug: And after the slew of interviews over the last decade until now, the contradictions and spinning of facts. I'm starting to think after all, maybe I don't want Stevie to write an autobiography:shocked:. Someone with serious writing cred needs to step up and write a true accounting of Stevie's life. I suspect neither will happen in Stevie's lifetime:cool:

Immediately after reading this article, I googled "Stevie Nicks" "three packs" - and that site came up. I never forgot her saying that she smoked three packs a day at one point, because I remember reading it and thinking, "Three packs my a$$!!! Are you smokin' 'em in the shower?!? Exaggerating again..."

what the hell? Does she think her fans don't know about her smoking? Hell, she helped ME stop smoking. I recall an interview where she said she stopped by thinking everytime she had a cigarette a doctor told her she would get cancer. Wonder where THAT interview is!!!

I punched in 'Stevie Nicks Kools Menthols' to Google..I always remembered her brand:lol:

As for the article..I dislike her combing through the same over & over..FM history,cocaine etc etc. I'm disappointed that she has to exaggerate so much too..does she think the truth isn't entertaining enough for readers or something? tsk tsk

:laugh: Her lack of consistency is one of the reasons I adore her. We all know she's bull****ting, but she does it with such a conviction. It's as though she thinks if she says it often enough, it'll turn out to be true :laugh:
