Bah ...as long as you're a fan and have something to contribute stick around..once you get older you will care much less about being popular or well liked.

Words to live by. Other than that, as far as fan boards/blogs go, eventually you tame your offensive or defensive impulse to reply and be RIGHT. Remember, EVERYTHING on boards or blogs is mostly opinion and perspective - everybody has one. Sometimes it's simply better to ignore certain attitudes or situations outright. Pick your battles and words wisely.

I don't know who's trying to run you off or what's going on, but I wouldn't leave just because a few might not like you. Being on a message board is all about your personal thoughts, views, and opinions just as others share. It's not about fitting in or becoming too liked or popular to me. To me you just share and contribute your opinions whether they get regarded or not. It's sometimes hit or miss on these boards and if people end up liking you, good, if not, oh well too. :)
