Help needed on some "obscure" Stevie songs
 

Hello everyone,

I am hoping to get some help finding some songs I lost due to a recent laptop meltdown.

Does anyone have good quality versions of Mirror Mirror, Smiling Islands and I Pretend they might share with me?

I had C or B quality copies but sadly lost them.

If anyone can help me out it would be much appreciated!

A while ago, I used INport Deluxe to snag "Mirror Mirror" from my "Blue Denim" cassette single. I have it uploading right now, and I'll post it when it's finished. :)

True, but he specified CD single. ;)

It is pretty surprising that it never turned up on an officially-released CD. Should've definitely been included on 'Enchanted.' (Shame that "Real Tears" wasn't included either -- although at least that track is available on CD.)

Dontcha remember they were still producing cassette singles back then?

In the US, a 2-track CD single was commercially available for "Maybe Love," but unfortunately "Blue Denim" was only available on cassette single (even though cassette singles were on their way out in '94).

In Europe, where "Blue Denim" was released as a CD single, "Thousand Days" and "Inspiration" were the extra tracks.

I always wondered why it was never put on "Enchanted", especially being as she's openly talked about it, and it was even considered the name for one of her albums.

Oh well, sometimes it be that way.

I love the song Real Tears, sad that so many of these lesser known songs never made and album.

I wish she would put out a CD with all her soundtrack songs and throw on some B sides.

I was going through all her music and came up with over 30 songs that never made a studio album.
