HUGE increese of Stevie fans on Facebook
 

The number of fans in the Stevie Nicks fan page on Facebook is increasing by the hour. Two months ago there were no more than 170 000 fans, and it took three years to get to there. There are 271 328 now, and every time you refresh the page the number is getting bigger. 10 000 people liked the page in the last 12 hours. Knowing how much people spend their lives on FB, it's a great place to promote the new album and tour. Here are the numbers for some other artists for comparison:

The main FB page for The Eagles has over 700,000 fans. I'd be shocked if Stevie had more than The Eagles.

That having been said, Stevie has gained many fans in the couple of months her page has been up. Weeks ago she had fewer fans than Tina Turner or Joni Mitchell - artists who are arguably at least somewhat more comparable to her (as female solo artists of a certain age) than The Eagles or Justin Bieber. Of course, Janis Joplin has over 2 million fans, not that I would expect Stevie to match her.
