Are she and Dave dating?

I mean seriously. Look at that video. They like each other.
I showed my Dad it and he goes.. Damn. They're gonna be married soon.

:p

I know he had a torrid 1 night stand with her back in the 80's, very well described by him on Howard Stern a few years back. Maybe they are going for a repeat?? :)

You should know by now that Stevie is a master actress when it comes to pretending to be in love with someone she's not (you saw Fleetwood Mac last 2 years ago!). :p

I think Stevie and Dave are just full circle friends at this point. They kinda came into each other's lives back in the mid '80s when they were both hot messes, then abruptly spun away from each other. I think it just means a lot to them that they've formed a stable friendship with one another after all these years.

For further proof, Dave just did a magazine article with his model wife showcasing their beautiful home. If they weren't together anymore, I doubt they'd do a magazine article together showcasing their happy love nest.

I didn't know he was married. Embarrassing ;)

Not necessarily true. It wouldn't be the first time that someone's painted a picture for the public eye...

For the record, I very, very strongly believe that they are an item of some sort. I've heard some rumors and I believe they are true.

Well it wouldn't be the 1st time she has lusted after a married man. After all she just has to remind them "My name is Stevie Nicks... My name is Stevie Nicks....My name is Stevie Nicks" sprinkle some gold fairy dust and poof wifey is gone and Stevie's bed is warm again

 I got that feeling that something is going on between them immediately when I saw the video...especially when she kisses her on the neck...I really don't want to read into things, but...

However, his wife must know what Stevie and Dave's friendship is like for them to comfortably put that clip in the video...

Unless...it really is just all acting for the song, but Stevie definitely looks like she's in 'love la la land' more than once in the video.

I still believe there's a bit going on there, but I'm not going to fight about it. ;) If there isn't, they certainly would like for us to believe there is. The hug and kiss on the neck is VERY intimate.

I agree. No coincidence that they're implying all this while they're promoting a song called "Secret Love".

I am not quite sure why she surrounds herself with so many of her ex-lovers. It's like they are trophies of some sort. Lindsey, Don, Dave, Mick, Tom (maybe), and the many others she most likely keeps in contact with.

When she spends time with Dave is she ever thinking, "I remember that party at my house were we did a s**t load of coke and we slept together. Or did we sleep together? I can't remember."

I did get the impression from watching the video she is goo-goo eyed over him, but more in a friendship sort of way.

I heard the same rumor about a year ago that Dave was leaving his wife for Stevie. Fast forward a year, and Dave's doing magazine articles with his wife showcasing their happy love nest. It just doesn't add up to me that Stevie and Dave are seeing one another... but that's just my take on things. I most certainly could be wrong. I know nothing of their private lives.

GoldDustBoy 04-12-2011 08:11 PM

She is known for having relationships with her producers, and them being married was never an obstacle (gag-gag Rupert Hine). When Dave started tweeting about her new album I was almost certain there was something going on between them, but now I believe they are just good friend who admire each other talents very much.

And the sparkling water I was attempting to swallow just went all over my screen and keyboard.

But on topic, if she's acting in the video, it's so damn good acting.

TrueFaith77 04-12-2011 08:27 PM

I *hope* it's just that Dave sees her as a meal-ticket on the Fleetwood Mac train. Other than that, marriages are often creative arrangements in Lala Land. AND... Stevie has always dated ugly guys since Lindsey, right? She stands them in a line... stand back!
