I've been plugging away at a horrid draft for my Winslow Homer term paper all day. It's due tomorrow but I've been procrastinating terribly--I'll write a paragraph, then screw away the next 20 minutes on the internet.
I wish I could skype, but I have this weird thing where I keep thinking I'll return to the paper just as soon as I check in on gawker/write that last post, etc. Like it doesn't count as a break as long as I think I'm about to start being productive. Ah, the delusions I indulge in.

What were you sewing? Awesome that you can do that--I've always wanted to learn.

I truly did nothing today . I woke up, decided I was still a bit too sunburned and hung over to be of much use, and pretty much went straight back to bed for the rest of the day LOL.

I work Friday-Monday, so it was a work day for me. :)

I've been trying to be productive, but all I can do is listen to our new song, trying to figure out a good guitar part, and mixing the levels!

I just putt around today. Crappy weather.I was going to visit my dad .but I did not feel good. All week my stomach felt like it was on a rollercoaster ride.Spend most of the time working on my computers.and lost almost one hour looking for the keys for the shed.I started editing a radio special the local station ran during the visit of Stevie and Rod Stewart on the 27 of march at the Mohegan Sun casino. It was called Stevie Rod weekend .They played one hit and alternate each on every hour.It started on friday the 25 and ran until to sunday night.I recorded the whole weekend.probably about 60 hours got to be edited.

I had a pretty good Sunday. I got up and did some re-writes on the my book then thought I was being ridiculous working on a Sunday monrning so I stopped and lazed on the sofa with The Big Bang Theory dvds!

Then I went to some friends for a barbecue at 2pm that lasted until 11. I ate way too much, had a few too many beers, came home and fell into bed! Now I'm in the office - bah.

I had the most amazing Sunday I've had in an AGE. It was hot so my girl and I went on a 2 hour walk by the reservoir into the park with my dog and then came home and listened to records for the afternoon (she thought FM - Dog and Dustbin - were awesome and asked me to burn her some Greeny stuff and some Blondie) then I went to a house party, got drunk and danced to Johnny Cash all before we all watched Pulp Fiction. Then I went to bed and got up again to watch Iggy Pop on American Idol at like 2am.

I wish you lived here!!! We would have sooo much fun.
So my band plays this one place, where it's an older crowd. They LOVE Johnny Cash, so much so, that I'm learning 5 new JC songs. I already do Folsom Prison, and Ring of Fire, but I'm learning:
Get Rhythm
Hey Porter
Stripes
Cocaine Blues
One Piece at a Time

JTIS!

I had a pretty forgetful Sunday, really. I'm saving up for a trip to Amsterdam with my friends so can't really afford to go out. So I just stayed at home working on class proposals. I did treat myself by doing a little building work on Sims, though.

I actually had my hair like his, but curly, and it was completely by chance that his cover of Hurt came on the TV. My friend Joe and I adore him so we sat cross legged silently crying together and then decided that we should be happy and danced to a greatest hits CD that we found :) We threw a little June in for good measure, too.
