Question on "I can't wait" lyrics

This has made me wonder for years (and probably has been addressed here already numerous times!). Does anyone know what the words/lines are spoken in the middle section of this song (before the guitar solo)? when I was a kid I kept thinking she (or someone) was saying "go to salvation army, go to salvation army". LOL somehow I doubt that's what is said. Anyone have an idea?

I believe she is saying, "how will we feel ten years from now, Rick?" I think it's also Lori or Sharon's voice that is sampled here. What's funny to me is that when the sample is played at a higher pitch, it sounds different.. almost like it ends with "honey" instead of "now, Rick".

The part that says How will you feel 10 years from now?

For some reason I always hear "Power includes federation only" which makes no sense at all, but it always gives me a chuckle.

well that sounds much more creative than "probably going to salvation army" LOL

It's funny when other people say what they hear because then I totally understand where they're coming from if you're trying to hear those words. :p

This has been an ongoing debate for years over whether it's "How will we feel twenty years from now?" vs. "How will we feel ten years from now?"

For a while I thought it alternated between the two but now I think it's ten. Twenty just seems too long to wait lol to see how "we" will feel but then again there is no logic to it.

How will you feel 20 years from now, Rick?
