Try VLC media player.. that's the only program that would open it for me, although there are some sync issues on my PC with the audio and video (video is kinda choppy). This could just be an issue with my specific video card, so I would give it a try anyways.

You can download here:

That's what I use too. Windows Media Player also runs it fine.

Interesting.. when I try to play it in there, it just freezes. Does anyone else have this issue or difficulty playing it using VLC player?

Windows Media Player doesnt work for me :(

GoldDustOrphan 04-05-2011 03:25 PM

It's a HD format. You can play it with Windows Media Player or the VLC player, which is the player everyone should have. It's free, cross-platform and will play almost every kind of video format.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AVCHD

I will upload the entire file, which is in Quicktime, to megaupload and fileserve later tonight.

The editor of this sizzle reel is the lead editor on the "Secret Love" music video, which he says is on its way.

Dave Stewart has over-extended himself and everything is late. His musical "Ghost" opened on March 28 in London, Stevie's album, his album, the Stevie documentary and music videos, his music video and documentary, etc. It's all from his company, Weapons of Mass Entertainment.

Thank you so much for the info! :)

Also, if anyone is interested, I think this is the issue (at least for me) with the M2TS file, which I found in a forum from a google search:

"... Windows doesn't have hardware acceleration on m2ts files, so even though they play, it's all up to the processor."

My computer is about 5 years old already, and likely this is an issue with my graphics card that probably can't handle the file very well.
