Deeper Understanding
 

Kate Bush has released the first single, Deeper Understanding which appears on her 'new' album, The Directors Cut.

Ok now that I've heard the full thing, I love it! The 30 second clip from the other week did it no justice, the computerized part ties in with the song great. Really looking forward to hear what she does with the other songs, esp. Lily and Rubberband Girl. :D

I... love it! It all fits together much more nicely now I've heard the whole thing rather than just the snippet! :D

I've never really been a Kate Bush fan, but I liked that. I might have to look more into her catalogue than I have.

It's interesting to see what happens in the second half of the song when the harmonica and such come in.

Favorite parts at 1:39 and 4:54.

And all the news of the video and Kate finally getting the rights to use Ulysses, it's all just too much! :blob2:

ETA: I read up on the Molly Bloom rights. YES! YES! YES! indeed. Just disappointed she wasn't inspired by Sally Kellerman's reading. ;)

I'm not liking this newly released version. Oh well. But so excited to see activity from the Kate camp. Love her so much!
