I just watched the video for secret love playing in the background of one of the youtube videos of the song live. i know there seems to be a lot of ds on the screen, but im wondering if in the movie he is Stevie's love interest. i can't wait to see the actual video.

I noticed she walks upstairs after her when she sings "when I know that you are downstairs in tears".

Also during the sizzle reel we see a young gentlemen who resembles a younger version of dave in a suit. We already know there are younger versions of stevie in the film.

I'm just curious to what the actual plot and story are to this project.

The SL footage playing on the screen is a bit of a jumbled mess, but from what I could tell, it appears to be a video-within-a-video. The director character is shooting now-Stevie but seems to be having a reverie about then-Stevie. So perhaps the director character is her secret love from long ago? :shrug: The footage of Dave seemed to have been crowbarred in there rather bluntly.

If I remember correct in one the recent interview stevie said secret love was an ode to a rock star. maybe it is about herself when she was first starting out in the business hence why we see the younger stevie.

Id still love to know how all these videos intertwine.

The young man in the sizzle reel, I'm most positive, is supposed to depict Edgar Allan Poe.

thats just creepy poe and lindsey I can see it.Maybe stevie is obessed with poe to levels we can only begin to understand. lol

LMFAO i don't ever want to understand that ! :distress: I am in the middle of reading Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray and i totally get her interest in Wilde. He was an amazing writer, not only for his time but, for our time too ! I was amazed that i couldn't put the book down. I was also amazed because the story is basically about being gay in victorian London in the 1800's ( which was a crime punishable by jail back then ). The guy was a genius writer as was Poe. She pulls ALOT of material from all the great classic writers. To create a song out of a litterary masterpiece is just so brilliant and creative, another reason i love and adore Stevie ! ;)
