I was at this concert. What a great memory. I was in tears when they did Gypsy! I've said it before and I'll probably say it again, but imo Gypsy should *only* be performed acoustically.

I just watched the after party video, which I have never seen before, but 2 things. Lindsey and Don have the exact same profile.
Also I'm just curious, if her past loves like Lindsey and Don are protective of her? When Don was standing behind her I just got that visual of "big brother" keeping an eye on little Stevie.
I don't just something to talk about on this dreary, cold Atlanta day.

Chris Isaac was very funny, "I've taken out most of the filth . . . I just left a little bit of filth for the people in the cheaps seats." Stevie was animated as well. It was a great show. He's definitely a better match for her than Rod Stewart is. I'm not sure why, though. Rod can be very funny. It's a shame they aren't mixing it up more. I guess they aren't on equal ground or something.

I've never seen anything from this benefit, but wow! That version of "Gypsy" never gets old. I wonder why she didn't add this to the set permanently? It worked so well here.

If Buckingham Nicks ever reunite and tour, there will prolly be lots of songs like that. Wow. What an MTV Unplugged coup THAT would be. (I should be these peoples' agent... but do they still do MTV Unplugged?)

That Gypsy is lovely, the version on the Dance was laughable!

I always thought Stevie doesnt mess around with her songs enough, this works, and Gypsy live rarely works.

I was thinking the other day that if FM were making another album they should do another, more low key version of the dance beforehand to gather some hype. But instead of just playing the songs like they did on the original, they should do what they did with Say you love me and big love in '98 and just strip everything down and build it back up again to suit their current vocal abilities.

I went to this when I was 16. I wasn't thrilled with Henley being there, but that acoustic version of Gypsy was well worth the trip. Brilliant.

P.S. Thanks for the videos.
