Twisted or Twisted?

Don't remember if this has been discussed, so I open this poll. What version you like more, the Twister soundtrack version, or the Enchanted boxset demo version?

the demo by far

Twister soundtrack by far :). I just love it's more rocking nature, Lindsey's harmonies, and I just have the fondest memories of when that movie came out... being SHOCKED to hear Stevie singing (I didn't know she was on the soundtrack... '96 was the very early days of the internet).

i couldn't vote... pretty much like them both equally... i would have to say my favorite presentation of Twisted is live on the Enchanted Tour!

Twister soundtrack, It gave me a little hope that Fleetwood Mac may reunite because Stevie and Lindsey were actually in the same room together to record this.

All about their harmonies, so it's the soundtrack version for me. Plus, the line "I know, you know watching you go is like dying, like dying..." it just sort of kills me their voices together on that. Sublime. It's a vocal moment reminiscent of "Beautiful Child" from Tusk when they sing, "I bite my lip, can you send me away?" and "Your hands held mine so few hours." Sheer awesomeness.

Not even a contest. Other than Edge of Seventeen, Twisted from the soundtrack is my favorite Stevie "solo" song--because she is best with Lindsey. So romantic.

Soundtrack by far. The demo is boring!

Crazy men...crazy women....

Soundtrack! Everything's better with Buckingham.

The line you referenced sets the Twister soundtrack version leagues ahead of the box set version. It's funny you mention "Beautiful Child" here, because I have always thought the same thing. It's a real crime they haven't performed this one together! It was on my mental "dream" setlist for the Unleashed Tour. Relatively simple to do and all the players were there. Oh well, perhaps next time?

Soundtrack version by faaaaaar. The demo is a bit lifeless, while they both sound hot hot hot on the real deal.

Christopher 03-30-2011 09:51 AM

I like both, but the soundtrack version has the upper hand. The extra bridge part. Lindsey & Stevie's harmonies and Stevie's chilling wails toward the end. Am I the only one who wished they had dumped one of the new songs and did Twisted live on The Dance album or DVD? Regardless it's a shame this version is buried on the twister soundstrack, it deserved to be on a Stevie solo record or also be used on an FM record.

I really don't like either, sorry. One of my least favorites.
