EO17 Live 2011
Is it just me or does she sing this differently live now, especially first few lines? Sounds like early 80's Stevie!

Man Alive....that was the best performance of Edge since the Rock a Little Tour IMO. She did look a little nervous at first but really loosened up and rocked out the last half of the song. I was really surprised she performed the extra full length version with the "i know what it sounds like" and "i hear the call of a nighbird".

Yea I am impressed by this version as well, she sounds much raspier (which I love!) than usual.

Hands down, the best performance of the night at my Tampa show. She was just very in the moment and wilder than I've seen her perform it in years. I think the shorter intro is a better way to start it than the long drawn out Waddy guitar solo - it's tiring. Hope she maintains this intensity into the IYD tour.

HOLY ****
There's not been an Edge like that in my lifetime! |
|
Maybe the old gal still has some passion in her after all! It would seem those duets with Rod are pumping some new energy into her! Easily the best Edge I've heard since the Enchanted tour.
PS: anyone else notice how GIANT Lori's knockers are this tour? |

Yeah, she was kinda letting it all hang out in this one. Looks like Sara & Sulamith got ahold of that dress, tho. :distress:
