Help- Song Identification
Hey all:
I was walking around campus and I heard this hip hop/R and B song I kind of liked. The song was coming from the stadium speakers, so there was a lot of echoing. It was a slower-mid tempo song, with a pseudo guitar riff during the chorus I think, and the singer (a guy) was saying something like "I gonna make you so late", so something like that during the chorus. Anyone know what song this is? Thanks In Advance, Ethan |
Just google the lyrics and usually the song/artist will pop up giving you some idea until you find a song that matches. That's what I do anyway if I'm trying to find out a song.

The only R&B/ Hip HOp song that comes to mind with a guitar riff is Just A Dream by Nelly.
Otherwise, I have no clue. :/ |

And the Nelly song wasn't it! :( Thank you though. |
Er... a very misheard Grenade by Bruno Mars? The syllable sounds and number of them seem to fit.

I don't know if it was a current or older song, though it definitely sounded more current. |
Since we're on misheard lyrics, I went for years wondering just wtf "Cadillac Noon" was?
Until I finally googled the lyrics for Trace Adkins' "Every Light in the House Is On" Every light in the house is on The backyard's bright as the crack of dawn The front walk looks like runway lights It's kinda like noon in the dead of night  I'm stupid sometimes. |

Regarding misheard lyrics, for years I thought that the line "I'm as blind as a fool can be" from Rod Stewarts Maggie May was "I'm as blind as a f***ing bee"

When I was a kid, on billy Joel's "we didn't start the fire", I thought "trouble in the Suez" was "trouble in the sewers"
Wtf. |
