Born This Way Gaga's new video dropped today

OK, I didn't want to be the one to post this

But I'm doing it.

There are Madonna homages, so if you're a Gaga hater looking for reasons to pick the video apart, you might just wanna move on...

They shouldn't have the first part of the video in there, it's totally weird.... but then again, maybe that's why I am so damn addicted to this video :D And HELLO, Gaga has a banging body. I just love her, & I love how she is so confident & female in this video (:

I think that the "Mother Monster"/God duality is too much. BUT I freaking love her, and I think the skeleton scenes are really cool.

cristochango 02-28-2011 08:59 PM

I think its fantastic.
Plus Skeleton GaGa is smokin hot ;)

This video is amazing! I was going to post it here, but you beat me to it! It's a shame there are so many haters. She is passionate and truly inspiring and I hate that some people don't see the beauty in her work.

Some people just see her dancing almost naked in her music videos & form an opinion on that alone. I've seen it happen with one of my friends. (She is anti-Gaga) And it's true... you are basically setting yourself up for haters that way, but it's not like she cares.

I find it funny how people assume she's a talentless hoebag because she wears a minimal amount of clothing. Nobody says anything when a man strips down in a music video or does something provocative, but everyone goes bonkers when a woman is half naked.

Oh I think she's talented. However the music bores me and the image turns me WAY WAY off.

I might overlook the image if the i dug the music..but alas.

I agree, it's completely insane. She just likes to show how strong & confident she is, and that's totally cool! But the people I know would have a problem with even a man doing that, they are some strange people I know out there.

That basically sums up exactly how I feel about her.

I like the intro and the premise... it sounds very intriguing- all this stuff about giving birth and splitting in two, etc. And it toes the line of being gross very well. Unfortunately the rest of the video doesn't deliver on that promise; it's just Gaga in different outfits dancing around. I mean, the costumes, makeup and sets are breathtaking and all. But I was hoping for some kind of a plot where there was none.

I like it, it has a great vibe and an interesting video to go with it.

She (or anyone) doesn't have to constantly wear practically nothing to show how confident she is.If someone is truly strong and confident, they can accomplish that with more clothing on. It would bother me if a man was doing this, as well.

Good point; really though, I think it has very little to do with confidence and everything to do with "I've got a smoking hot body, check it out!"

Well, the whole point of dance is being able to see the dancer's body lines and form; that's why ballet dancers wear tights. Personally, I think tights are just as revealing as bare skin. And admittedly she was wearing prosthetic pieces on her body that were made to look like bare skin. If Gaga wants to dance around naked, then more power to her. The whole point of the video is about the birth of a race that was absolutely free in every way, so Gaga freeballing is totally appropriate.
