Chris Nicks.com has lowered prices!

Last i checked tshirts were like $300 and up. Now they have been lowered to $20-$50!
And looks like he added some different shirts for sale.

Figures, all the shirts I like are in the $50 range. :distress: Glad he's lowered the prices, though!

I guess he figured he might want to...I don't know...actually SELL something, so he lowered the prices.

"Chris Nicks" is synonymous with amateurish.

I didn't know that! I agree, I could have made these shirts myself, I guarantee it. For less than what he's charging. I do LOVE the one of Stevie & her tambourine. I think it's a OSOTM shirt.

And the Enchanted booklet. And her crummy tourbooks.

the Enchanted booklet? really? you were not pleased? i thought it was pretty good, considering what we had gotten from Stevies releases beforehand. It was better than any tourbook i had seen since 1989.

SuiteShangriLa 02-03-2011 07:45 PM

imo...the Enchanted tour shirts were pretty good. Especially the 2 for sale here, the blue and the purple. And there was the 'blue lamp' shirt they sold on that tour. I bought the blue (finger pointing) shirt in 1998 at the show i went to and worn it out! my original shirt is pretty much a faded black shirt, the image on it is un-visible! i recently bought a new one to replace it. (bought the purple one too, but framed it and never wore it)

Even though Chris Nicks' absence of talent destroyed many of Stevie tour programs, and his cover for the Enchanted boxed set was deplorable, the ultimate responsibility for letting his crap sully Stevie's brand belongs to Warner/Modern/Stevie/Stevie's management. I want to hold a grudge, but if I can replace my long ago-stolen OSOTM t-shirt for $40, I simply have to.

If he offers tour books at a decent price, I might have look into it since all of mine from RAL to present were destroyed - along with my calendars - when my air-conditioning system malfunctioned and leaked water into a storage closet.

I have seen programs in perfect condition offered on ebay and other places for $25 or less. The only one I replaced is RAL and it was $10.

Sure, the rare photos are nice...but it still just has that whole "slapped together" look to it. Think about what it COULD have been had there been a little art direction!

What is this guy--about 55?

Isn't it about time for him to post his resume to Monster.com?
