Anyone know when this pic was taken? It looks like it was taken within the past 5 years or so. Her lower eyelids just look so aged here. I guess that's the difference between professional and candid photography :).

^^ I think it may be from a few years back, even. A lot of the time it has to do with lighting. I remember Suzanne Somers once saying something about you really couldn't tell she had wrinkles on tv unless you were right up close to her face in person. Then she looked her age. Stevie always did use that tube of concealer or whatever around her tired eyes even 25-30 years ago for help.

Thanks for sharing Melanie! :)

Hence, her aversion to playing outdoors in daylight. I remembered at my first "Edge Walk" in 1998, I was like  when I saw all of the fine little lines around her eyes when she bent down, which you don't really see when she is a little further away. But then at the B&N DVD signing in 2009 she looked flawless (which could have been due to the gels they placed on the overhead lighting  ). I am just in awe of her makeup and lighting... the lady knows what she is doing!

And airbrushing. I like the pic, that's how she should look.

Which is still amazingly good at her age! I know Stevie has all the latest anti-aging tricks at her disposal despite her aversion to botox. But I for one am so glad she has resisted the route of going to the plastic surgery extremes and looking plastic like Cher or Madonna:distress: I would rather her sag here and there and age with dignity with a little help from a laser here or a filler there, but nothing completely invasive.;)

I'll be totally honest... I wish she would get some nips and tucks done. I think Madonna looks fantastic. Stevie's aged naturally so beautifully... with some minor work, she could knock out women 40 years younger than herself. Just so long as she doesn't take it to Jocelyn Wildenstein/Joan Rivers levels. But I think she's got WAY better taste than that.

That being said, Stevie's still stunning. Especially if you take into account your average, non celebrity 60 something woman. Stevie's the same age as 2 of my Aunts, and several of my Mother's friends... and let me tell ya, she looks LIGHTYEARS better than any of them.

Madonna's HANDS are what freak me out. It's made me convinced that the woman is part-tree.
