Sara Live?
 

How many times was this performed with the Mac, because I can't find many live videos of this.

Sara has been performed during most every Mac tour of the past 30 years:

Tusk
Mirage
Tango
Say You Will
Unleashed

The 3 tours which Sara was never played are:

Behind The Mask
Time
The Dance

In addition to Fleetwood Mac, Stevie has performed Sara on her tours, too:

Bella Donna
Wild Heart
Rock A Little

And as we know, Stevie recorded Sara for her Soundstage concert, and apparently performed it at least once more in '07 as well. Sara really isn't that big of a rarity... Stevie just put it on the shelf following 1988, and didn't pull it out again until 2004. I'm guessing Sara is here to stay these days.

Where can I find the Mirage version?

I could be wrong, but it could've been one of those songs that were cut from the final Mirage show vid. Same probably goes for the TITN vid too

I was just reading the wikipedia page on Mirage and saw that it had been done on that tour. I think I've heard Sara from every major tour except for that one. Anyone got a good mp3 of Sara from Mirage?

I was always surprised that she cut out most of the vocal ad libs during the Bela Donna tour. One would think she would have taken that opportunity to expand on the song given that it had been cut down so much on Tusk. My favorite parts of the live versions are the various ways she had done the ad lib at the end. Every time I see a new one posted I actually forward through the track to the end on my first listen. I figured on her solo tour she would have really let loose. On the HBO special when it got to the end she did the "all I ever wanted" and then ran back for a costume change. I was disappointed. Was the Mirage Sara wild like the Tusk tour or subdued like the Bella Donna tour?

'Sara' was only done for a few nights on the TITN tour on the European leg in 88.' This was after the filming.

'Gypsy' and 'Rhiannon' were also cut from the 87' tour by the end of October. This was such a shame because they were both awesome versions.

Yep, I agree. However, at the beginning of the tour she was truly amazing. I have some DVD's and she sounded amazing.

Sara has always been the most beautiful Stevie song and one of my favorites!!

Wow, they didn't even sing the little "Sara" backup vocals. Lindsey went right into the guitar solo. I wonder if Stevie wanted to save her voice or they were like "hey, the show's long enough, can you can it with the crazy wind and never dead heartbeats!"
