Powerful Therapy: When Alvis Met Stevie
This may be new to us since it is from a magazine by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. This is a must read!
Find Stevie's name here: http://www1.va.gov/opa/publications/...07novdecVG.pdf or better yet, download the specific page here: http://www.mediafire.com/?y1xxxyl5o2wtp6x |
Omg that was beautiful. I cried when I read the part where it said his therapists helped him get ready to get up, walk to her, and give her a hug, that is so sweet & I pictured it. Also the card he made her is absolutely precious that says, "Stevie, I like your music, Thank you" :'(
She really is something else, this is what makes me proud to have her in my life, she's so generous kind. Thanks for sharing this! |
Wow. Love her. Poor guy, I hope he's able to regain more functionality.

This is an amazing story, it made me cry. Stevie is so kind and caring. I'm sure there are plenty of artists out there who would have ignored doing something like that but she's just such a sweet and loving person. He is so sweet too, I hope he'll be able to recover even more than he already has. They are both such inspirations. Thank you for sharing :)

Wow, that is really a great story!

I love hearing stories like this about Stevie. It seems that when she meets special people they really matter to her...and although we can't all meet her, I'm happy for those who do. I'd give up my chance to meet her in order to let someone like this guy meet her. It'd be hard but I would.

This is yet another reason why I am proud to be a Stevie Nicks fan!

For some reason I can't access the file. Can someone post it?
