In Your Dreams Vault Song: Your Pick

So knowing now that Secret Love is one of the vault songs, what do you think the additional one should be if there even is another one? Not necessarily your favorite demo but one you think would fit the tone of the album knowing what we know.

I'm honestly not sure what I think so share your opinions/speculations!

I'm pretty sure Annabel Lee will be on there. I dunno if that & Secret Love will be the only two - they're might be one more.

There are lots I'd *like* to see her do:

- Cecelia
- China Doll
- Lady from the Mountain
- Baby Doll
- If You Were My Love
- Starshine
- The Dealer

Some have speculated Lady from the Mountain will be on the album.

Is Annabel Lee considered a "vault" song? I thought it was written more recently for TISL? I really hope there is one more!

I will be pleased if it ends up being LFTM.

I'd KILL for Stevie to put Lady From The Mountains on the album, out of all my favourite demos, it's the one song I can see her doing total justice to. As much as I'd love to see her redo All The Beautiful Worlds, it's already pretty much perfect as is. While I think LFTM has so much untapped potential.

Three Birds of Rhiannon
Amber (If she redoes some of the lyrics)
Lady from the Mountain
All The Beautiful Worlds
Cecelia
China Doll
Forest of Black Roses
My Heart

Lady From The Mountain
or
Three Birds of Rhiannon

All the Beautiful Worlds is by far my favorite demo/outtake but it's so perfect I'd be destroyed if proper justice was not done to it.

3 Birds of Rhiannon would be my choice AND it would be an ode to the original Rhiannon.

I'm pretty sure Annabel Lee was written when she was like 17

'Space Needle' simply has to be on the cd, is that a given? It's proof of her still stirring ability. How it could not make the cut, I don't know, it was perfect.
That said, in all the imperfection of 'What Has Rock and Roll Ever Done For You,' I am really hoping Dave Stewart took his love for the RAL era and improved upon the demo to produce a killer version of it as a homage to 'fun Stevie' for the new cd, it could be so much fun still, even if it should have been on a cd 30 years ago! And she sure could belt it out on stage in whichever register she chooses, these days, and it would likely be a crowd pleaser. I'm seeing- or hearing- more and more, what you all mean about that change in her live singing, belting certain notes out, but perhaps in the wrong spaces. That was 'SB' on Ellen to me, last week.
'China Doll' was beautiful. '24 Karat' had hooks in the demo that sometimes her released songs don't have.
I guess I have to give up on 'Jimmy Come On Back', but how I loved the skeleton, I really heard the possibilities in that one, it was so Motown and yet so Stevie. I just think it never will be finished, the time isn't right for her to sing it anymore, is my guess. I'd love to be wrong, but really 'Jimmy' was just a treatment or an outline of a song, but I thought it had a lot of possibilities.
'What Has Rock and Roll' might just have needed a producer all along such as Dave who loved RAL SN, so if it's not on this cd, I don't think it ever will be on one.
All of the above would be fine with me. I never liked "Cecelia" so that one I could live without, though it seems popular here. 'She Loves Him Still' is maybe my favorite of all, but the feelings of the composer whose music she wrote the lyrics to have been well-covered here, so I don't expect it to be on the cd. If there's 12, or 14 songs, I will be happy with 4 great rockers, but whatever the songs are, and whatever style, I can't wait to hear it.

I think this is the millionth time this question has been asked...but I never get tired of talking about it, soooooooo...

1.Lady From The Mountain
2. Blue Water
3. Watch Devil (Watch Chain)
4. Mistaken Love
5. Christian (Spinning Wheels)

I hope hope HOPE that she gets around to recording these five songs before she quits making music.

This is my favorite version of it playing in the background, but the quality sucks.
