Rod Stewart WITH Stevie Nicks??

All the venues on Ticketmaster are being listed as Rod Stewart with Stevie Nicks, not and SN...Do you think this means it will be primarily Rod singing, with Stevie adding just a few songs? Or do you think it will be more like what she did with Don Henley a few years ago. I'm OK with a few of Rod's songs, but I really want to hear her

Basically that just means Rod's the main act... Stevie is the secondary/opening act. He's the ticket selling draw, she is just secondary fluff.

The promo poster makes it obvious too - "Rod" is in a bigger font than "Stevie".

Well that definitely settles it- unfortunately I will not be there!

Yep, not going.

$500 effin dollars for the front section at The Hollywood Bowl show? F that! Even if I could get those seats there's no way I'm paying that to see Stevie play a few of her greatest hits.

I think I'll sacrifice not-so great seats to go and save $ for the solo tour. Seriously though, that's just outrageous to pay TM. A broker, understandable but face value, OMG!!!

$500, are you kidding? That's outrageous, especially in this economy.

If you go to Ticketmaster the dates are listed under Rod Stewart (you can search Stevie, but he Rod page comes up), so it looks like she's supporting him. She will then go out on her own according to Dave Stewart. I'll be going regardless, because if this is like the tour she did with Don Henley, this will be her only stop in my area on this run. If she comes back again on her own, then I'll go to that too. But for now I won't chance it.

Yes, she is opening for Rod Stewart. She is playing a 75 min set. She MIGHT do a song or two with Rod.

I'm not sure it's a good idea for them to do a duet.

Why do those questions sound disingenuous?

Since they've never done anything together before, I think Stevie may be too nervous to pull the performance off. Plus, others were commenting on the lack of "chemistry" they felt Rod & Stevie had on the Ellen show. So, while I don't necessarily think it would be disastrous - because they are both seasoned vets/old pros - they may not mesh and that would end up being disappointing and anticlimactic.

Have you seen the poster on the web? If so, please post the link, I couldn't find it
