should LB go on SNL to announce new CD?

with all these discussions on how SN album could be best marketed, i think lindsey actually may have a unique chance to reach certain audiences, if SNL keeps every now and then doing what's up with that - since people seem to wonder anyway how will that skit wrap.

it seems that by now finally most people are aware that it's bill hader and not really LB in the skit:rolleyes:. which may be used to slowly build expectations of real LB showing up and what would happen if he does... guess should be cleverly written if he does show up. but i think it would be great if he clearly announces a new album on SNL/what's up with that some time not long before it drops. it would definitely give him an exposure that he generally doesn't have!

any thoughts?

He should do the season finale on SNL... Sit in on the skit...

That would be fantastic, and I could see it happening. I assume someone there is a fan...
Would love to know how they came up with that in the writer's room.

Someone there has to be a big enough fan to nail Lindsey's signature red-shirted, leather-jacketed, necklaced Unleashed outfit.

I'd bet if Lindsey's manager called and suggested Lindsey show up for real, they'd jump at it. I think it would be awesome.

However, I doubt they'd want him to actually perform, which might turn him off to the idea.

that's what i'm thinking too. he wouldn't even have to do a song or be a muscial guest - they'd just have to end the skit in some kind of witty way and make sure to put in a clear message that he's having a new CD out. and he'd need to have something good/interesting out at the same time (not DYMM-like;))that people can go and check on youtube or download before they forget and move on to something different.

They definitely should, but they won't.
