Twirl Fall

This may sound absolutely horrible.
But has Stevie ever fallen while doing her twirls?
...on video... :D

Cocaine + Booze + Twirl = Fall

She fell of the stage on the RAL tour, but I don't recall whether or not it was twirl-related. I don't think it's inconceivable that she would lose her balance, but from the many shows I have seen, she hasn't missed a step. She is a master class of twirling.

Twirling/dancing/rocking out aside...I would think it would be hard to just get around stage in those boots avoiding cables, mic stands, equipment...and all while being buzzed! It's amazing she didn't fall all of the time.

Anyone who's worn high platforms knows it takes skill to move around in them, muchless twirl. That took time for me. You don't realize how huge boots like that are to walk in until you have one shoe off, and one on standing up straight. They add a good 5 or 6 inches or more to your height.

You have given me a horrible case of the giggles

If anyone falls in-- *BAM!*

Random audience member: Now that's gotta hurt!

She also fell in 2007! But I think she backed into an amp and tripped over it, not mid twirl.

I did hear about this.

Damn her. Perfection all the time. :D
not falling during twirls.

You'd think once, just once.
The Stand Back shawl would like... nevermind. She's perfect. It happens :D

I'm sorry whenever I just see the title of this thread I erupt in laughter.

"Well she said stand back."

She fell during Gypsy in L.A. on the 1983 tour. She was carrying a cat, & she fell during a twirl & went tumbling to the stage floor. We gasped! She got up & said, "Cat unhurt."

This reminds me of an urban legend that people tell about Johnny Carson interviewing Zsa Zsa Gabor, who just happened to have a, cat, on her lap and asked Carson if he wanted to stroke it.

Why the hell was she twirling, while carrying a cat on stage?!
