Despite my love for "Hard Feelings" and it's "Beatle-ish, White Album era" feel, "In The Back Of My Mind" just is Billy's standout track (with the awesome intro build up (Mick's brainchild?), background vocals by Rick, Chris & Stevie, and Rick's guitar solo at the fade out)

I agree! 'In the Back Of My Mind' is the best of these 3 songs and one of the best songs on the album!!

ITBOMM, without a doubt. Quality song.

While I really like "Hard Feelings", I voted for "In The Back Of My Mind" because it's overall a better song.

Really like all of Billy's work on "Behind The Mask". It's all great stuff.

Poll Update

Poll closes tomorrow morning, so vote soon if you have not already. :wavey:

"In the Back of My Mind" is nice, but kinda faux epic. Sorry. It's no "I'm So Afraid." "Hard Feelings," however, is moving and beautifully achieved--memorable because its melody rides the grooves of one's (delicate) hard feelings.

When It Comes To Love, because it's one of the few songs on that album that I can stand.

Winner Update

With 10 votes, "In the Back of My Mind" wins for Favorite Billy Behind the Mask song.
