Stephanie/Stevie
 

I was thinking about this after thinking about the donation that Stevie made to dave and it being listed as Stephanie Nicks. So my question is, did Stevie have her name changed to Stevie legally or does she still go by Stephanie? ( I saw in one of the album books there was a listing for Stephanie Nicks). I know it's a strange question but I was just curious cause i know (and I don't hate me for saying this) that Miley Cyrus had her name legally changed to Miley. And after the donation for Dave figured i'd ask.

I would assume that she legally kept her name Stephanie.

Yeah. I think Stevie is just a nickname. I mean, my nickname is Bee and I much prefer it to my name (Stephanie too :p) but I'd never change my name. Maybe because I have this rather tenuous connection to a Maccy lol.

No way did she have her name legally changed to Stevie. Many celebrities don't bother to do that. Tammy Wynette never did.

Plus, some people may not make the connection when they see "Stephanie," so that may be useful sometimes.

Christopher called her Stevie as a child , he child not pronounce Stephanie .

Neither did David Bowie :)

She's Stephanie, Mick is Michael. They use their birth names on legal documents.
