This Is The Rock

The Album needed a good starter.
Jeremy delivered.

A coin toss between "This Is The Rock" & "Buddy's Song". Sorry, Buddy.

Either case, it was an "album opener", depending on which side of the album you put on first. I think "back when" I first bought Kiln House, I played Side 2 first.

All great songs here, but I'm always a sucker for genre parodies/sendups so I had to go with "Blood On The Floor." Also, while Stevie sings about someone "undoing the laces" and Lindsey sings about doing "his stuff", here Jeremy pulls no punches and sings about shooting his "sweetheart" after discovering her infidelity with "her legs wrapped around that man's buns." Peter and Jeremy were definitely much more bawdy than Rumours-era Mac.:p
