Favorite Lindsey song from Tusk
Ledgies...:woohoo: ... Here's the poll for Lindsey's songs from Tusk.
Multiple choice - try to limit yourself to 4 choices. |
I pick 'Walk A Thin Line'.

I don't see any poll *checks under the rug to see if she swept it under when "cleaning" her room*. The Ledge, anyhoo.

i think it should be one choice.

It was close between WMYTYTO and WATL. Went with the first one, due in part to the killer drum track, it's edginess and overall attitude.

Gave my vote to TUSK! Oh yeah, and The Ledge, which, like the forum, is strange and crazy

It was a tough duel between The Ledge and Walk A Thin Line. The Ledge is probably the single most fun Mac song ever recorded... you can't help but smile and sing along when you hear it! It never fails to lift my mood.
But in the end, I had to give my vote to Walk A Thin Line. There's something special about this song. Lindsey isn't known for writing soft, beautiful ballads... but here is exactly that on the least likely of albums. In an album full of snarky, angry songs from Lindsey that are made to SOUND unpleasant is an understated, unapologetically beautiful little song. Gorgeous harmonies, honest sentiments, beautiful percussion. This is probably the first song of Lindsey's on Tusk that really spoke to me, and that's probably why it wins my vote in the end. |
Tusk
Walk a Thin Line Save Me a Place I Know I'm Not Wrong those are my faves... |
Save Me A Place got my vote. I just like the yearning vocal so much.
This is a tough one, tho. I've recently gone through a bit of a Damascus Road type conversion on LB's Tusk output, and I like them all now! (Well, maybe not 'Not That Funny' so much, but even that's got its uncompromising brattish qualities.) Loz |
I'm glad it wasn't just one choice. I had a hard time even narrowing it down to 4!!!
