Stevie's donation to charity for Dave Stewart's Bday
 

Don't know if this was posted, but I thought it was cool. Dave Stewart asked people to donate to this charity that provides water in developing nations. Stevie and Karen both donated:

Dave had a great idea!! More celebrities should do things like this and should link it to pages where their fans go, as well. That way, fans will be encouraged to donate.

It's so weird to see Stevie's name amongst a bunch of other donations that casually.... I love it.

Oddly, it appears that Stevie actually donated the $158 that was credited to Karen. Click the links:confused:

It's not that odd really, it's set up for his age - 58 - so people are donating with that in mind. He gave $5800 and Stevie did too. Others are giving $158 or doubling it, etc...

That is weird.

Ohh okay. I didn't know the whole age thing, I thought she just pulled some random amount out of her ass.

Weirder still is whether you click on stevie's name or karen's they both lead back to stevie's profile. Hmmmm.:rolleyes:

Karen and Stevie might be the same person. Or . . .

Stevie might have redirected the link to Karen's profile.

Hmm, on a lighter note... Did Karen donate her backpack?

I imagine that Karen set up the profile in Stevie's name and just made her own donation under that profile, rather than going through the process of creating her own account too. Makes sense to me.
