Ken Caillat's book

I'm sorry if this has been mentioned before, or if no one knows :sorry:, but does anyone have any idea when Ken Caillat's book on the making of Rumours is due to come out?

He's a FB friend of mine(not that that means anything). I'll ask him!

Here's Ken's answer to me...

Hi David, yes, it is finished and is being edited now. I am looking for a publisher.

I really can't wait to read this one. I think Ken's account should be far more accurate and believable than any others currently out there, including those written by band members! I'm looking at YOU, Mick Fleetwood! :p

Sweet. Now I really can't wait and I'm definitely gonna buy it in hardcover. Thanks David :)

You're welcome. And I too, bet this will be, by far, the most accurate version of the truth, out there. Definitely will buy hardback, the day it comes out.

Same here. It's gotta be better than Mick's (never read it, but I heard it's very innacurate) and CAH's (even though it was hilarious) combined, but I wonder what kinds of tales of sex and drugs, all while making a rock n' roll album, he's gonna have in there...

I've never read CAH's book. Someone stole it from the Library and I don't want to buy it.

That's very funny! (For a second I thought you were referencing me - aka PenguinHead.) Of course I'm interested! Penguin publishing should be too. (and I'm coming back to Portland next spring...I miss the city so much!)

not sure

about it being the most accurate. after all, the man is trying to sell books. i'm sure things will be "juiced up" to create interest.

Given the breakups, the drugs, the promiscuity of the 70's, I'm not sure the truth NEEDS juiced up!

I don't think so. You might be confusing that with his working on the 5.1 surround mix of the Tusk DVD-A, which never materialized (as far as I know)

My thought exactly. The juice is already there!
